Happy New Year to you and thanks for being a part of The Organizing Academy.

We live in a world where people are constantly in need of improving both their physical and mental well being and I believe the concept of organizing is a great tool to make that happen.

With organizing, we’re empowered to take charge of our lives and our environments. The concept of organizing encourages us to embrace the right behaviors and enables us to thrive especially in a world dealing with some of the biggest crises currently facing humanity.

Issues affecting climate change such as global warming, greenhouse gas emissions, pollution etc. are directly linked to disorganization. Disorganization leads to clutter, waste, stress, inefficiency and a host of others which directly affect our health, work and environments.

There’s the need to start having more conversations about how our daily behaviors and lifestyle choices are impacting our planet and how the concept of Organizing is a MAJOR solution to the problem.

So the question is how can we get more people to embrace and enjoy the benefits of an organized lifestyle?

The answer is in promoting the organizing culture. The Organizing Culture is a culture of order and effectiveness as opposed to a culture of clutter, chaos and consumerism.

The mission of The Organizing Community (TOC) is to improve the world through organizing and our mission is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDGs 2030.  I strongly believe that we can individually and collectively contribute to making our planet more habitable by joining this organizing train.

It doesn’t matter where we come from, what language we speak, our religious affiliations, age, gender, socio-economic status or story, everybody can be empowered to live and promote a life of order.

The Organizing Community platform and The Organizing Culture movement powered by The Organizing Academy is a fight against disorganization.
